Effective from 30th August 2019.
Your privacy is important to us so we have created this policy to keep you informed on what data we collect and how we use it.
If you have any questions you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
If you leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
When leaving a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
We use Gmail for our company email, so if you send us an email or use our contact form, your name, email address and message will be stored on Gmail’s servers.
The 3rd party services that we use that set cookies are Jetpack: https://jetpack.com/support/cookies/ and Google Analytics: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage
Beyond what is described above, we will not sell or share your personal data with any 3rd parties except if required to do so by law.
