I’m Alex and I’ve been stitching and creating in one form or another as long as I can remember. I love the process of making something. It so satisfying to watch my creation grow and come alive over time.
I have also found stitching to be a huge help in getting through some pretty tough times. When I feel myself getting stressed, I can always rely on a bit of stitching to bring me some calm that allows me to regroup. Sometimes it kinda feels like my lifeboat.
At the beginning of the year, I decided to take a leap to really up my embroidery game. So I’m now studying for the Royal School of Needlework’s Certificate in Technical Hand Embroidery. I’m loving it even more than I thought I would and will be sharing plenty about it in future posts!
My plan for this little corner of the internet is to share my love of this beautiful craft with you. I’ll be bringing you with me on my stitching journey and including tutorials, tips and tricks along the way. I have also started working on a beautiful collection of patterns for you that will make it easy to create your own masterpieces while enjoying some soothing stitching.
